hmmm...ok now am I dreaming?...cos this is awesome!

One night my Uncle was up the tree getting a bunch of Cherry's and a sneaky sneaky raccoon decided he wanted in on the action....it's not the best pic but you can you see him climbing the ladder lol!

So my Uncle is super into his Veggie and Fruit garden which he has going on. It's totally amazing and while we were there we ate beautiful lettuce, peas, peppers, beets...all organic and fresh from his garden. In the morning we went up and ate off the cherry tree till we were full! DELICIOUS!!!

Pinch me...am I dreaming on Texada Island

Ok WOW...this one tops the lot so far! Texada Island Limestone Quarries are amaaazing! The minerals in the water make it this amazing aqua colour.
We had such and awesome day swimming, bbqing, chillen in the sun listening to music and chatting.

West Lake

Our first day in Powell River we went to West Lake, it's really pretty....I feel like a stuck record always saying everywhere we go is really pretty but seriously British Columbia is just so beautiful that everywhere is gorgeous. The hike/walk in to the lake is about 20 minutes, on the way we munched on wild raspberrys, huckle berrys and blackberrys that we found growing in the forest...

click the picture below and it will take you to a bunch of other pictures for your viewing pleasure

Sargents Bay

We took a drive to Sargents Bay today, it's a pretty cool beach. You'll notice all the drift wood in the below pic, I thought it was kinda unique....this is all brought in off Georgia Straight.

Neo and I decided it would be a good idea to do a little rock climbing. I ended up with bruised knees and scraped elbows...some locals asked us if we were trying to kill ourselves....I guess we were climbing it wrong....it got a little hairy in a couple spots...I was happy to see the ground anyways.

The veiw was better from the top of the rock, so the bruised knees were worth it.

Chillen with the Grandparents

My Grandparents house is in a gorgeous location right on the water we spent the day kayaking, walking through the forest by their house and basking in the sun.

Sechelt

My Grandparents live in Sechelt which is a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. It's on the Sunshine Coast and super scenic! Today we made the trip over to stay a couple nights.

The pictures of the ferry ride across to Langdale don't really to it justice, it was early morning and slightly overcast but here's a few:

We arrived safely!!!!!

Sorry about the lack of communication. It's been pretty full on since we've arrived and we've been making the most of the beautiful weather.

The flight went well, although the flight from Sydney to Vancouver was an hour and a half longer than it should have been, making it a 16.5 hour flight!! There was a medical emergency on board before we left the run way so we were stuck sitting there and not allowed out of our seats until they were able to get the guy off the plane for medical help. We were exhausted when we arrived in Vancouver at 7am but were determined to last the whole day so we could get in to the swing of Canadian time!!

We arrived to stinking hot weather so made our way to Lyn Canyon, heres a pic..it's super beautiful but because the water runs off a glacier it's really cold.

Crazy people, like the guy in this picture jump off the cliffs at the Canyon. Apparently around 1-3 people a year die doing this but it doesn't stop the lunatics!!!

For the first 4 nights we stayed with friends in Lyn Valley, North Vancouver. They had a pretty full house so we were camping in the back yard...we had a couple of sleepless nights after seeing a bear in the back yard while we were eating dinner.
This is us chillen at Lyn Valley Star Bucks with Ryan (we've been staying with Ryan & Alea (my Canadian Sis...I'll get a picture of her up here soon) and their fams):

I love this picure that Neo took of Mountain Highway. Were staying just off Mountain Highway so this is our regular walking route to busses etc...

I've been sitting on this blog for a couple days now so I'm going to post it now...or I never will!!!!

clothes....clothes...beautiful clothes

O how I love you!! I will miss you sooo much.

My wardrobe is empty. THIS WAS HARD, and....a slow process, I lost count of the times Neo came in to see how I was going and I was parading around in front of the mirror deciding which pile an item was to go into..... I actually felt heartbroken putting some things into the "you can't come to Canada with me pile"

For Nomey aka my BBT date!
